This may be confusing when trying to determine which to buy. Some listings include model numbers, others no model numbers, and the newer version is branded only as “Philips”. I have provided product links below for some of the other listings in order to help clarify this for purchasers. My best advice is to SEARCH and review the options that are returned to ensure you get the best deal. The only problem was that I had the one that came with my iPhone 4 all wrapped up in my charging station at home. Plus, I needed a charger that I could plug into the wall (so I could use my white-noise app at night), and one that would work in the car (so I could use my GPS while driving). I was plugging my phone into my friend’s computer to charge it, but that was an inconvenience for everyone. So needing something, I headed to Target. Enter the Digital Lifestyle Outfitters DLM2264D/17 Power Pack Bundle for iPod and iPhone (Black) This charging set immediately caught my eye in the store, both with its looks and the functionality it offered. In fact, it really offers three charging options: via the power block, via the car charger, and via a powered USB connection. Additionally, both the AC charging block and the car charger offered an illuminated port, which looks cool but also makes it easy to find the charger in the dark. The charging block was pretty bright — enough to double as a nightlite. The car charger light is also bright, but looks good. From a functionality perspective, these chargers have performed as desired and have not presented any issues. I do get the sense that the plastic that covers the USB end is not connected to the metal USB connector, so I would advise caution when unplugging this to not pull by the wire. I would also have liked the cable to have been a little longer. As it stands it’s about 3′, which is the approximate length of the OEM cable. Honestly, I don’t think it would have cost Philips/DLO that much more to tack on an extra foot or two, which would have provided a bit more flexibility when setting your device on tables, etc. One final thing to point out – the version I initially purchased from Target was branded “Philips”, which purchased DLO. I paid quite the premium for it, and was shocked to find the DLO-branded version on Amazon MUCH cheaper. I purchased the DLO charger from Amazon, which turned out to be the EXACT same product with a different logo, and returned the other one. Unlike the person who provided the extra photos, however, mine came with protective film and connector caps and there were no scratches or anything. I have been pleased thus far, and therefore recommend this item.

The cable is exactle the same length as the original that comes with the iPod. The wall and car adapters both do their job.
